Murmansk region, Russia based Lavna terminal on July 25, 2014 received its first vessel, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) of the Murmansk region said.
A Rosselkhoznadzor officer of the state control commission conducted food inspection on board the ship, as well as hand luggage of the crew.
Rosselhoznadzor has been carrying out constant control at the terminal since July of this year.
Two sources familiar with the matter told IAA PortNews the story is about the terminal operated by Karmorneftegaz, a joint venture of Rosneft and ExxonMobil.
