Hapag-Lloyd announces WHO for exports from Turkish port of Iskenderun

Hapag-Lloyd will implement Weighing Charges Origin (WHO) for exports from  Iskenderun port, the shipping company said.

The WHO is effective as from  August 25, 2014 and will be USD 3 per container.

Hapag-Lloyd is a leading global liner shipping company. Hapag-Lloyd AG emerged on September 1st, 1970 from the amalgamation of the two shipping companies Hamburg-Amerikanische Packetfahrt-Actien-Gesellschaft (Hapag / Hamburg-American Line) and North German Lloyd (NDL).
