Throughput of Arkhangelsk Sea Commercial Port down 2.5% to 962,300 t in Jan-Aug’14

In January-August 2014, Arkhangelsk Sea Commercial Port OJSC handled  962,300 t of cargo (-2.5%, year-on-year), the company says.

Handling of import cargo fell 2.8 times to 21,900 t, transshipment of export cargo fell by 20.8% to 395,000 t. Handling of coastal trade cargo increased by 42.1% to 537,400 t.

Arkhangelsk Sea Commercial Port OJSC is a multi-profile stevedoring company of port Arkhangelsk. It specializes in transshipment of general cargo, cellulose, cardboard, containers, timber, metal, fertilizers, heavy equipment, loose and dry bulk cargo. In 2013, the company handled 1.425 mln t of cargo.
