On September 4, 2014, SITC International and Guangxi Pingxiang Integrated Free Trade Zone Administration Committee signed strategic cooperation memorandum in Qingdao, the company said in its press release.
In the principle of complementary advantages, long-term cooperation and mutual benefit, both parties will jointly invest the construction of China-ASEAN land container logistics hub (Pingxiang) project in Guangxi Pingxiang Integrated Free Trade Zone.
Based on Guangxi Pingxiang Integrated Free Trade Zone, this project will take container business as the core, and carry outcontainer yard, international freight forwarding, customs declaration, LCL, project logistics, logistics distribution, warehousing and other business, to provide one-stop logistics services with high efficiency and high quality. At the same time, it will actively explore 3 cross-border logistics routes of Pingxiang Bonded Zone to Vietnam haiphong, Pingxiang Bonded Zone to to Ho Chi Minh city, Pingxiang Bonded Zone to Bangkok through Vietnam and Laos .The project business covers Indo-China countries, and central south, southwest, south of China. This container logistics hub will became the most important one on the land border between China and ASEAN.
