Baltic Fuel Company acquires new 3,950 DWT bunkering tanker for operation in Azov - Black Sea Basin (photo)

Baltic Fuel Company has acquired a conventional tanker for performing of bunkering operations in the ports of the Azov - Black Sea Basin. 

On September 15, 2014, the tanker arrived at port Kavkaz for customs clearance, flag changing ceremony and registration with the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping. The vessel will preserve the class of Bureau Veritas.

The AYFER KA built in 2007 has come from Turkey. The vessel is being renamed in hornour of ABRAU, a picturesque lake in the Krasnodar Territory. With this, the Company makes a start for a series of ships bearing the names of Russian lakes.

This ice-class double hull oil tanker with the deadweight of 3,950 t meets the requirements of MARPOL Annex VI. Vessels characteristics: LOA -  90.80 m, beam - 14.60 m, depth - 7.36 m, 10 cargo tanks.
