COSCO christens 13386TEU "COSCO DENMARK" at Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering
On September 16, the christening ceremony of 13386-TEU container ship MV. COSCO DENMARK was grandly held at Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering. Mr. Han Chengmin, President of NACKS, Mr. Hou Liping, Deputy Managing Director of COSCON, Mr. Deng Huangjun, Chief Financial Officer of COSCON and other guests from COSCON, COSCOSHIP and American Bureau of Shipping attended and witnessed the ceremony. Ms. Cheng Huijuan, from Bank of China, christened the new ship, the company said in its press release.
MV. COSCO DENMARK is last of a series of eight 13,386 TEU vessels being built for COSCON by Nantong Shipyard (NACKS). The COSCO DENMARK will be deployed on the South China / U.S. Southwest Coast Express Service (SEA).
The port rotation of South China / U.S. Southwest Coast Express Service (SEA) is: Taipei, Xiamen, Hong Kong, Yantian, Long Beach, Los Angles and Taipei.
