OSM New Build Management announces successful PSV transfer & flotation

OSM Maritime Group announces the successful transferring and floating of Hull N0. Vard 791 at Vard Shipyard, Vung Tau, Vietnam on the 9th of September, 2014, the company said in its press release.
 
The transfer & floatation of the hull was performed ahead of schedule and completed with no incidents; all under the watchful eye and guidance of OSM.
 
Hull No. Vard 791 is a Plastform Supply Vessel (PSV) of 81.7m length and has been constructed according to DNV Classification and notations: 1A1, Offshore Service Vessel, SF, E0, DYNPOS-AUTR, DK (+), HL (2.8), CLEAN DESIGN, NAUT-OSV(A), COMF-V(3), LFL*, OILREC, FIRE FIGHTER I, Standby Vessel, ICE-C.
 
The vessel is well suited for global trading, and is currently scheduled for delivery January 2015.
 
Commenting on the project is Head of New Build Management for OSM Ship Management, Douglas Dalli: “We are extremely proud that this operation went off without a hitch, and look forward to delivering this vessel in January as scheduled. Each milestone for each project is carefully monitored and managed by our very competent team to ensure our customer’s expectations are exceeded.”
 
OSM Maritime Group have also successfully delivered two additional PSVs and one Shuttle Tanker in 2014 to date. Additionally, OSM Maritime Group have nine ongoing parallel projects currently under management, amounting to nine PSVs, six Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessels (AHTS), and two Jack Ups.
