Gazprom Gazomotornoye Toplivo set to create LNG infrastructure for bunkering in Russia’s North West and Sakhalin

Gazprom Gazomotornoye Toplivo LLC is looking into creating of small-scale facilities for LNG production in Sakhalin, Leningrad and Kaliningrad regions of Russia, IAA PortNews journalist cites Mikhail Likhachev, Director General of the Company, as saying at Saint-Petersburg conference dedicated to gas-based motor fuel. 

According to him, LNG is supposed to be supplied to marine and rail transport.

Specialized company Gazprom Gazomotornoye Toplivo LLC was set up by Gazprom in December 2012 as a single operator on development of gas-based motor fuel market in the Russian Federation.
