CMA CGM upgrades its Cagema Main Liner service

CMA CGM announces major changes brought to its Cagema Main Liner service, the company said in its press release.
As from MV CONRAD S voy. UA907S, in New York on October 26th, 2014, the Cagema Main Liner rotation will be revised to fit with customers' requirements and become the only line in the market offering weekly direct connections to Jamaica, Trinidad, Dominican Republic from US East Coast and South Florida markets in the same rotation.

Transit time from US East Coast and South Florida to Trinidad will be improved by 4 days: Miami (Friday until 7PM) to Point Lisas (Thursday PM) in 6 days, cargo being available in Trinidad on Friday.
The new rotation will be the following: New York City (Sun) - Savannah (Wed) - Miami (Fri) - Kingston (Mon) - Point Lisas (Thu) - Port of Spain (Fri) - Rio Haina (Mon) - New York City (Sun)

The Cagema Main Liner service to offer the following new competitive advantages:
 CMA CGM dedicated hub at Kingston, allowing seamless relay of cargo through CMA CGM global service network, especially to South America East Coast and North Coast and Leeward Islands
 Fast connections with CMA CGM operated, weekly Inter Island Feeder to the Winward Islands: Bridgetown, Castries, Fort-de-France, Pointe-à-Pitre, St John's, Roseau, Saint George's, St Vincent...
 Sunday call in New York City allowing connections with Canada
 Friday call in Miami with late cut-off (7PM)
 6-day transit time between Dominican Republic and New York City
 Reefer capacity
 Breakbulk cargoes and OOG handled by dedicated teams
