CMA CGM announces major changes brought to its Cagema Inter Island Feeder service, the company said in its press release.
Starting on October 18th, 2014 in Point Lisas (Trinidad), the Inter Island Feeder rotation is revised to ensure a weekly connection between CMA CGM hubs of Trinidad and French West Indies and the main Winward Islands.
The revised rotation will be focused on schedule reliability and quality of service, as follows:
Weekly calls: Point Lisas - Bridgetown - Fort-de-France - Pointe-à-Pitre - St John's - Castries - Port of Spain - Point Lisas
Ad-hoc calls: Roseau - St George's - Camden Park - Vieux Fort
The Inter Island Feeder service is now designed to offer the following new competitive advantages:
Fast weekly connection in Point Lisas with Cagema Main Liner service from the US and Kingston
Connections with CMA CGM Global service network in Fort-de-France, Pointe-à-Pitre and Port of Spain
Possibility to truck to Vieux Fort (St Lucia)
Reefers accepted
Breakbulk cargoes and OOG handled by dedicated teams
