DFDS Seaways confirms incident on board the DOVER SEAWAY ferry
DFDS Seaways can confirm there has been an incident this morning on board the DOVER SEAWAYS ferry when it left Dover on the 08:00am sailing to Dunkirk, when it made contact with the harbour wall, the company said in its press release.
Unfortunately, some passengers and crew were treated for minor injuries, including four people who have been taken to hospital for additional checks. Their injuries are not believed to be of a series nature. All 320 passengers and freight have now disembarked the vessel and those who chose to continue their journey have been accommodated on other DFDS Seaways ferries. The DOVER SEAWAYS ferry is currently being assessed for repairs.
