Development of fisheries industry in Primorsk Territory to be discussed with Government and relevant ministries, Putin says
Primorye Territory Governor Vladimir Miklushevsky briefed Vladimir Putin on the socioeconomic situation in the region and discussed with the President programmes underway in different sectors including the fisheries industry.
According to Kremlin press center, Mr Miklushevsky noted that the Government has decided to develop a fisheries industry hub that will establish local shore-based fish processing facilities, but the financing decisions for these projects have not been made yet. The Governor said that building the special wharves and acquiring the needed refrigeration equipment would require the state’s participation. Mr Putin said that the matter of developing fisheries industry facilities in the region should be discussed with the Government and the relevant ministries.
