«Spasatel Karev» takes on board 21 crew members of a drilling platform «GSP Saturn»
According to the Marine Rescue Service report at night from of November 7 to November 8, 2014 the multipurpose salvage vessel 4MW «Spasetel Karev» ( MPSV07 project) took on board 21 crew members of a drilling platform «GSP Saturn» at storm force eight, Nevsky Shipyard said in its press release.
At the moment «Spasatel Karev» proceeds as a part of a caravan from the Pechora Sea to Murmansk port, providing security safety of «GSP Saturn» drilling platform.
The management of the JSC Gazpromneft — Sakhalin company expressed gratitude to «Spasatel Karev» captain and crew for their skillful and competent actions.
«Spasatel Karev» is a unique multifunctional salvage vessel by her equipment and available technology; she was built in 2013 at Neva Shipyard (Russia) due to order of FSUC State Customer «Management of Maritime Transport Development Programs» of the Federal Agency of Maritime and River Transport of the Russian Federation. Vessel was built in behalf of FBE "State Marine Emergency Salvage, Rescue and Pollution Prevention Coordination Service of the Russian Federation". Three MPSV07 vessels are the biggest and the most significant ones nowadays built at the expense of funds of the Federal Target Program for the Development of transport system of Russia for 2010-2015 years. The fourth vessel is under construction.
Vessel's project was designed by Marine Engineering Bureau.
