Two Vroon Italian companies to merge from 1 January 2015

With effect from 1 January 2015, Vroon Ship Management Srl. and Vroon Offshore Italia Srl., both located in Genoa, will merge and be renamed Vroon Offshore Services Srl, the company said in its press release.
 
The company address and contact details will remain unchanged and there will be no changes to (safety and quality) management systems or to the organisation structure.
 
Business focus will be on commercial, operational and ship management of the company’s offshore-support vessels in the Mediterranean and adjacent waters.
 
Vroon Offshore Services Srl. operates a fleet of approximately 10 vessels, consisting of modern AHTS vessels, PSVs and utility vessels. Most vessels are operated in dynamic-positioning mode. The company employs approximately 15 shore-based and 200 seagoing staff. The company is committed to providing safe, reliable and cost-effective services to the offshore oil & gas industry.
