Coal exports from Russia up 8.3% to 149.329 mln t in 2014

In January-December, Russian coal exports climbed by 8.3% (+11.412 mln t), year-on-year, to 149.329 mln t, the Ministry of Energy statistics said.

In December, coal exports declined by 6.9% (-857,800 t), year-on-year, to 11.518 mln t.

Coal production for the same period increased by 6.8% (+2.242 mln t) to 35.398 mln t (30.532 mln t supplied).
