Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. reports that the MOL-chartered/operated containership MOL Express, which ran aground in shallow water in Tateyama Harbor on January 11, was pulled free by tugboats at 10:55 JST, the company said in its press release.
As soon as the necessary inspections, including an underwater survey, will be completed and seaworthiness is confirmed by the classification society, the MOL Express will proceed to the Port of Tokyo to begin her cargo operation.
