Oil price up to $48.69 in London and up to $48.48 in New York

On January 14, Brent crude for February delivery gained $2.1 to settle at $48.69 per barrel on ICE Futures Europe, Light sweet crude for February delivery climbed by $2.59 to $48.48 on New York Mercantile Exchange.
