Vyacheslav Sarayev has been appointed Managing Director of EVRAZ Nakhodka Commercial Sea Port (EVRAZ NCSP), the Company’s press center says.
The appointment comes into effect on January 16, 2015.
Vyacheslav Sarayev, who earlier headed the project on the development of Mezhegeysky coal field, will continue elaborating and introducing the strategy of EVRAZ NCSP strategy aimed primarily at improvement of the Company productivity, increase of cargo transshipment volumes, expansion of service range, enhancement of operational efficiency and reduction of costs.
Vladislav Zhukov, former Managing Director of EVRAZ NCSP has been appointed the Managing Director of EVRAZ Kachkanarsky Mining and Processing Works.
EVRAZ Nakhodka Commercial Sea Port is a major stevedore company operating at the largest Russia’s Far Eastern Port of Nakhodka, located in the eastern Gulf of Peter the Great, in Nakhodka Bay. The port is linked to the Eurasian continent through the Trans-Siberian Railway, serving the Asia-Europe-Asia trade flows. The port is capable of unloading up to 500 rail cars per day. Warehouse facilities cover the territory of over 300,000 sqm.
JSC EVRAZ NCSP operates on 16 cargo berths and one facility for handling the port’s workboats, total length is 3.5 km. The berths can accommodate ships of up to of 230 m in length, 32 m in breadth and 10.9 m in draft. Currently, at least 15 ships are able to dock at the port’s berths simultaneously and the port can receive more than 1,500 large vessels a year.
