As from January 2015, Franz Anton Zauner operates as Regional Representative for Austria/CEE of the Port of Rotterdam. He was already Representative for Austria since 2004 and now extends his range to especially the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, the company said in its press release.
As from now, Mr. Zauner is the direct contact for existing and future partners such as shippers, logistics service providers and authorities in the region. As a consequence, the Austria/CEE Desk is extended with a multilangual assistant.
The new Desk is part of a regional plan which supports / fits in the long term growth strategy and the related investment policy in the port of Rotterdam. The local presence in Austria and neighbouring countries by the port in general, will be intensified as well.
