ZIM to launch a new monitoring and tracking service for sensitive cargo

ZIM integrated shipping services today announced the launching of a new monitoring, tracking and security services package, specifically designed for valuable and sensitive cargo stowed in reefer containers. The service allows customers to closely monitor their cargo's status, change settings remotely and intervene to prevent damages, the company said in its press release.

The announcement was made at the Cool Chain & Temperature Controlled Logistics Europe ​conference in Frankfurt, where it will be showcased between January 26th and 29th.
 
ZIM’s system employs state-of-the-art technology and provides a tailored solution for customers shipping sensitive cargos. The system has been successfully tested in an international pilot with a global pharmaceutical company.
 
ZIMonitor is particularly suited for the Pharma industry, designed to comply with GDP regulations and provide ongoing data flow, alerts and automatic reports, along with a 24/7 professional response along the cargo route to prevent damages.
