Cleve & Zonen, supplier of groupage services to and from Rotterdam, launches a fortnightly service to Guayaquil in Ecuador, the company said in its press release.
Up to now, all that was available was a service via Callao in Peru, with a transit time of 42 days. By collaborating with Maersk, this will be reduced to twenty days. Via Guayaquil, Cleve & Zonen will serve various destinations in the interior, including Quito, Cuenca, Manta, Machala, Potoviejo, Esmeraldas, Ambato and Tena.
Cleve & Zonen already operates direct services to a number of countries in Central and Latin America. This is the first direct service to Ecuador.
