Vroon's VOS Glory leaves Fujian Shipbuilding Trading

Today, Wednesday 4 February, VOS Glory left Fujian Shipbuilding Trading in Fuzhou, China. The vessel is at the start of her journey to the United Kingdom, where she will operate in the North Sea under management of Vroon Offshore Services Aberdeen, Vroon said in its press release.

VOS Glory is a 60m ERRV-FSV (emergency response and rescue vessel/field-support vessel) and the second in a series of four such FSVs being built at the Shipyard for Vroon. The remaining two vessels will be delivered to the company over the next few months.

The company has ordered a total of 22 offshore-support vessels at Fujian Shipbuilding, with delivery between 2014 and 2016.
