Scorpio Ship Management (SSM) has one of the biggest newbuilding programmes in the world, at yards in Korea, Japan and China, the company said in its press release.
Area Sales Manager Leo Visser: “We concluded the contract in 2013 with SSM for delivery of dry waste compactors for the SSM newbuilding programme, which comprise a mix of bulk carriers and tankers. In 2014 alone, a impressive quantity of 71 ships were supplied exactly on time with Uson Marine machines”.
With the ongoing delivery schedule, SSM has now passed the milestone of having 100 ships with a Uson Marine equipment.
The deliveries of the compactors will continue until 2017.
