Ecological marine fuel of LUKOIL-BUNKER LLC has been praised by shipping companies, IAA PortNews journalist cites Maxim Degtyarev, chief specialist of LUKOIL-BUNKER LLC, as saying at the VI International Ecological Forum held in Saint-Petersburg on February 26, 2015. According to him, this fuel has been tried by Scorpio Shipping Managment SAM, Atlantic Ro-Ro and St. Peter Line. All of them commented positively on the fuel, Maxim Degtyarev said.
LUKOIL has developed a new grade of marine fuel for application in ecological zones subject to restrictions on negative emissions from seagoing vessels. This fuel complies with the requirements on sulfur content effective from January 2015 (maximum 0.1%).
