In January-February 2015, Rosterminalugol OJSC handled 2,464,052.9 t of coal against the plan of 2,044,100 t, the Company’s press center says. The result accounts for 120% of the plan.
In February, the Company handled 1,046,804.8 t of coal against the plan of 971,900 t (108% of the plan). In February, Rosterminalugol handled 19 vessels with maximum loaded onto the EFFESOS WAVE – 77,000 t. Maximum performance in February was 52,179 t per shift (12 hours).
In the reported period, Rosterminalugol unloaded 15,582 rolling stock units against 14,138 wagons unloaded over the same period in 2014.
Maximum unloading in February - 387 wagons per shift and 757 wagons per day.
JSC Rosterminalugol was established in 1996 to build and operate the coal terminal at Port of Ust-Luga. The terminal’s projected annual coal throughput is 8 million tons. The Company specializes in loading / unloading operations, freight forwarding services, building and maintenance of facilities at the coal terminal. The company also provides insurance services for cargoes and property, the risks of transactions at Ust-Luga port. The terminal has two berths of total length of 540 meters with depth of 14 meters. The terminal is able now to accommodate vessels of up to 240 m in length and 32 m in breadth. In 2014, coal exports via the terminal rose 5% year-over-year to 15.45 million tonnes.
