Within the framework of the project «Development of the trunk pipeline system to increase the supply of oil products to the port of Primorsk up to 25 mln tons per year» (the Sever project), Transneft Baltics, LLC, is building the pump stations «Bykovo-3» in the Novgorod Region and «Yaroslavl-2» in the Yaroslavl Region, the Company says in its press release.
Construction and installation works on the both sites have been started in August 2014. To date, all the earthworks have been performed, the works on construction of the foundations of trunk pumping and other facilities are completed as well. Equipment for the station of waste water biological treatment has been supplied. At the «Bykovo-3» station, the works on installation of steel structures of the lubrication system buildings and the trunk pumping unit are completed; the works on the welding of process pipelines are underway; a cable rack is installed and cabling work is carried out. At the «Yaroslavl-2» station, the installation of the buildings steel structures is completed by 60 pct.
Due to timely planning and preparatory works conducted at the stage of the future stations designing, it became possible to order in advance, at lower prices, 80 pct of materials and equipment with a long period of manufacturing.
All the activities related to the stations construction are conducted according to the plan approved by Transneft, JSC. The control over the progress of the work is carried out on an ongoing basis by Transneft Supervision, LLC, and by Transneft Baltic, LLC, the building owner. According to the schedule, the construction and installation works must be completed in September 2016.
