In January-March 2015, port Temryuk handled 762,010 t of different cargo, twice as much as in the same period of 2014, Harbour Master Valery Malyar told IAA PortNews.
The number of calls increased 2.35 times to 268 calls.
In March, the port’s throughput increased 2.2 times to 296,400 t including 76,700 t of oil products, 70,400 t of coal, 40,800 t of grain, 19,900 t of liquid chemicals.
In March, exports increased by 69.1% to 188,900 t while imports fell two times to 4,700 t against 10,300 t in March 2014.
Transshipment of coastal trade cargo surged 8.8 times to 101,600 t.
102 calls were registered in March including 21 calls of ferries (total number of calls registered in March 2014 – 49).
