Bill determining ‘Free Port’ concept brought up for public debates in Russia

According to the United Portal for allocation of information on development of draft legal acts by Federal executive authorities and results of public debates, the Bill “On introduction of amendments into certain legislative acts of the Russian Federation (in the part of determining the concept of ‘Free Port’)” has been brought up for public discussion. The procedure is to last till April 28, 2015. 

The Bill introduces the concept of ‘Free Port’, sets forth the rules for creation and functioning of free ports, regulates the issues of economic, production, investment and other activities within the free port, as well as customs procedures and special tax regime within the free customs area.
