PIL reorganises services from Far East to East Coast South America

PIL, together with K Line, HMM and YM is pleased to announce the re-organisation of our service in the Far East - East Coast South America trade commencing from Pusan on 25th April 2015 on the MV Kota Lukis, the company said in its press release.

The service named "SSA" will call direct to Brazil ports from Far East with below revised port rotation:
Pusan - Shanghai - Ningbo - Shekou - Singapore - Rio de Janeiro - Santos - Navegantes - Paranagua - Santos - Rio de Janeiro - Singapore - Hong Kong - Pusan.

In addition, PIL will commence its new second Far East - East Coast South America service covering Montevideo and Buenos Aires. PIL will market this new service as "SA2" and operate through slots exchange on the service jointly operated by Evergreen, Coscon and Zim.

The first SA2 sailing is scheduled on 1st May 2015 from Shanghai on the MV Value.

The weekly SA2 service covers the following port rotation in 84 days:
Shanghai - Ningbo - Yantian - Hong Kong - Singapore - Santos - Paranagua - Montevideo - Buenos Aires - Montevideo - Rio Grande - Paranagua - Santos - Singapore - Hong Kong - Shanghai.

With this service reorganisation, PIL offers customers a dedicated service from Far East to Brazil, new port coverage to Rio Grande with increased frequency and improved transit time between Far East and East Coast South America.
