Coal exports via Rosterminalugol terminal up 27% to 3.87 mln t in QI'15

In January-March 2015, Rosterminalugol OJSC handled 3.87 mln t of coal (+27%, year-on-year), the Company’s press release says.
In QI'15, the Company handled 66 vessels with average shipload making 58,500 t.

Maximum monthly result was achieved in March – 1.4 mln t of coal loaded onto 24 vessels. 

In the reported period, Rosterminalugol unloaded 54,200 rolling stock units (+16%, year-on-year). Maximum daily performance was registered in January - 814 wagons. Maximum monthly unloading was registered in March – 20,000 rolling stock units (1.4 mln t of coal). 

JSC Rosterminalugol was established in 1996 to build and operate the coal terminal at Port of Ust-Luga. The Company specializes in loading / unloading operations, freight forwarding services, building and maintenance of facilities at the coal terminal located in the Ust-Luga Bay of the Gulf of Finland. The terminal has two berths of total length of 540 meters with depth of 14 meters. The terminal is able now to accommodate vessels of up to 240 m in length and 32 m in breadth. In 2014, coal exports via the terminal rose 5%, year-on-year, to 15.45 mln t.
