Vroon Offshore Services take delivery of VOS Gorgeous

Vroon Offshore Services takes delivery of VOS Gorgeous. The vessel was delivered to the company at Fujian South East Shipyard (FSES) in Fuzhou, China, the company said in its press release.
 
VOS Gorgeous is a 60-m field-support vessel (FSV) and the third in a series of four such FSVs being built at the Shipyard for Vroon. The vessels feature a revolutionary, wave-piercing bow shape.
 
The company has ordered a total of 22 offshore-support vessels at Fujian Southeast, with delivery between 2014 and 2016.
 
In a ceremony held in November last year at the Shipyard, VOS Gorgeous was christened by Mrs Mireille Notebaart, partner of Vroon’s Managing Director, Coco Vroon.
 
VOS Gorgeous has now left the shipyard and will be heading for the North Sea where she will commence a long-term charter. The vessel will be managed by Vroon Offshore Services Aberdeen.
