On May 5, the Ministry of Infrastructure was visited by State Secretary of the Ministry for Transport and Digital Infrastructure of Germany Rainer Bomba and thirty top German experts to share experiences and provide technical assistance to Ukrainian experts in upgrading the transport system of the country, Government Portal of Ukraine says.
Responsible deputy infrastructure ministers will hold meetings of the working groups comprising Ukrainian and German experts to tackle issues of rail transport, road management and navigation of inland waterways. Their objective is to discuss possible investments in infrastructure projects in Ukraine, acquire successful experience of the European countries and develop a roadmap for further cooperation of the parties. The work of specialists will result into planning of joint activities directed to the development of cooperation in transport area and elaboration of concrete steps for their implementation.
The visit of the German delegation was organized on an initiative of Infrastructure Minister of Ukraine Andrii Pyvovarsky and Federal Minister for Transport and Digital Infrastructure of German Alexander Dobrindtwith the assistance of Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Ukraine Christoph Weil.
