  New CMA-CGM service network to call at KPCT

  

  Khalifa Port Container Terminal added a new service network which is operated by French shipping line, CMA CGM and named Mediterranean Express (MEX1), the company said in its press release.

  Port rotation of MEX service is Valencia, Barcelona, Fos, Malta, Salalah, Abu Dhabi, Port Kelang, Xiamen, Shanghai, Ningbo, Yantian, Chiwan, Valencia.

  With the new service, customers are expected to have significant improvement in connectivity for the import cargo from the Mediterranean ports to Abu Dhabi and export connections to Malaysia and Northern China.

  The maiden voyage of the service to Khalifa Port Container Terminal was 16 June with MV CMA CGM PELLEAS and handled 1,734 TEUs.
