  Samskip introduces new custom-built 45ft container chassis from D-TEC

  

  Samskip recently added a new custom-built low-weight 45ft container chassis from D-TEC to its fleet; followed by another 19 this September, the company said in its press release.
   
  Delivery follows a close collaboration between Samskip and D-TEC to optimise the chassis' specifications, with particular focus on unit weight, design and ease-of-use.

  D-TEC's S-line container chassis is known for its lightweight, robust design and is easy to use; i.e., the chassis only has a few service parts, limiting maintenance costs.
  
  The new 45ft container chassis weighs under 3800 kgs. - 400 kgs. lighter than usual - making it the lightest 45ft container chassis set up with standard components at the best price/quality ratio currently in the market; thereby increasing payload capacity.
