RF Minister of Defence Sergei Shoigu is set to prevent disruption of state defence order’s deadlines (photo)
On August 3, Russian Minister of Defence General of the Army Sergei Shoigu set a task of discussing measures to prevent disruption of deadlines by the United Shipbuilding Corporation under the state defence order, says the Ministry’s press center.
During the teleconference the Minister of Defence said there is every indication that the construction and repair of ships and vessels by USC companies would not be completed as scheduled.
According to the General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, by the end of the year RF Navy is to take delivery of 17 warships and boats as well as 52 auxiliary ships including 12 units from the USC.
