Hapag-Lloyd to implement BCF for export shipments from Singapore

In order to improve booking reliability and increase the efficiency of space and equipment planning, Hapag-Lloyd will implement a Booking Cancellation Fee (BCF) for export shipments from Singapore to Europe, North America and South America (Intra-Asia trade is excluded) with effect from September 7, 2015, the shipping company said in a news release.

Booking Cancellation Fee (BCF) will be: $ 60.0 per booking

This fee will apply to all bookings that are cancelled within three calendar days before vessel arrival.
