Hapag-Lloyd to revise equipment tranfer charge effective Oct. 1, 2015

Hapag-Lloyd will revise the Equipment Transfer Charge in Brisbane for all export and import shipments as from October 1, 2015, the shipping company said on Thursday.

Hapag-Lloyd is a leading global liner shipping company. Hapag-Lloyd AG emerged on September 1st, 1970 from the amalgamation of the two shipping companies Hamburg-Amerikanische Packetfahrt-Actien-Gesellschaft (Hapag / Hamburg-American Line) and North German Lloyd (NDL). The company's fleet of around 150 modern ships move annually five million containers. Hapaq-Lloyed employes 6,900 staff working at 300 locations in 114 countries.
