In January-June 2015, retail sales of Gazpromneft Marine Bunker’s marine fuel totaled 1.57 mln t (+3%, year-on-year), the Company’s press center says.
The Company’s total sales of marine fuel remained at the level of HI’2014 – 1.93 mln t.
The highest growth was registered in the Far East and Black Sea regions. Gazpromneft Marine Bunker also increased fuel supply to its division in Estonia. The Company’s share in t he Russian bunkering market increased to 20.9%.
Gazpromneft Marine Bunker LLC is a subsidiary of Gazprom Neft founded in 2007 for round-the-year supply of bunker fuels and marine oils for sea and river transport.
The Company’s total sales of marine fuel reached about 4 million tonnes in 2014, including 3,1 million tonnes of on board marine sales.
Today the Company comprises 9 regional offices and 6 subsidiaries. Gazpromneft Marine Bunker is a leading operator in the Russian bunker market, with the widest geographical reach of any Russian bunker company and a presence at all major ports of the Russian Federation as well as in the ports of Estonia, Latvia and Romania. As of today, the entire fleet consisting of nine bunkering tankers meets the requirements of international conventions. It has obtained licenses for cargo transportation by marine transport and for handling of dangerous cargo at seaports. The area of navigation is not limited.
