In January-July 2015, Taganrog transport hub handled 1,609,300 t of cargo (+5.1%, year-on-year), IAA PortNews learnt at the Harbour Master’s office of the port.
Transshipment of oil products fell by 18% to 499,800 t while coal transshipment increased by 34.3% to 354,000 t, grain – by 42% to 384,800 t, ferrous metal – by 18.6% to 292,900 t.
In the reported period, exports fell by 9.3% to 1,118,300 t, imports – 3.3 times to 35,200 t. Transshipment of coastal trade cargo totaled 448,400 t (up 2.5 times, year-on-year).
In January-July 2015, the port authorities registered 513 incoming and 518 outgoing vessels against 510 incoming and 516 outgoing vessels a year ago.
