Marine Façade (Saint-Petersburg) welcomed 12 cruise ships and 22,139 passengers last week (photo)

Between August 17 and 23 Passenger port of Saint Petersburg has received 12 cruise ships and 22 139 passengers. The total berth time of all the ships is 22 ship-days, total amount of passenger operations – 76 832.

Services provided to ships:

• Fresh water bunkering – 2 123 m3

• Waste-water reception – 330 m3

• Garbage collection – 210 m3

In the indicated period 11 helicopters have used the helipad of Passenger port of Saint Petersburg.

On August 21st a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of “Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg “Marine Façade” PLC was held.

On August 22 the Magellan cruise ship has made its inaugural call to Passenger port of Saint Petersburg, bringing over 1300 passengers. A customary plaque exchange ceremony was held aboard the ship.

Also on August 22 “Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg “Marine Façade” PLC and its partner tour agencies have held a community day. Employees of the companies have collected trash on the streets adjacent to Passenger port of Saint Petersburg.

Maximum amount of ships in the Port this week – 6, on August 18.

Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg «Marine Façade» PLC is in the ownership of the city of St. Petersburg and is the largest passenger seaport in Russia. Construction of Marine Façade began in 2006. The port can accommodate cruise and ferry ships of up to 330 m long and with a draft of up to 8.8 m. The length and depth of new access channels - 10 km and 11 m, accordingly. The port operates seven piers. The quay-side length – 2,171.06 m.
