Marko Raid and Carri Ginter appointed as temporary members of Management Board of Port of Tallinn
At today’s meeting, the Supervisory Board of Port of Tallinn accepted the resignation letters of current members of the Management Board Allan Kiil and Ain Kaljurand and appointed Marko Raid, current Chief Financial Officer, and Carri Ginter, attorney and lectrurer, as temporary members of the Management Board, Port of Tallinn says I its press release.
“With today’s decision we guarantee the sustainable and transparent management of the company. The main task of Carri Ginter in the Management Board is to guarantee the cooperation with investigators at all levels, also the evaluation of Port of Tallinn’s internal processes and their reorganisation if necessary,” said Remo Holsmer, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
“The task of Marko Raid, who is the current Chief Financial Officer and has years of working experience at Port of Tallinn, is to organise the management of the company on daily basis,” added Holsmer.
“We will also shortly announce a public competition for the posts of new members of the Management Board and make sure that security check is carried out among the candidates. In addition to reorganisation of the Management Board we will also make changes in the staff of the Supervisory Board and their working order,” said Holsmer.
Marko Raid (age 39) has worked in Port of Tallinn since 1997, and held the post of Chief Financial Officer for the past nine years. Carri Ginter (age 37) works as a partner at Sorainen law firm and lecturer at the University of Tartu.
