Hyundai Group signs MOU with Kexim
On September 9, Hyundai Group signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Korea Exim Bank (Kexim) for the strategic financial cooperation between two companies. Hyundai Group Chairman Hyun Jeong-Eun and Kexim Chairman Lee Duk-Hoon met at Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul, and agreed to share information on their strategic business and to cooperate on financial issue. So far, Hyundai Group and Kexim have built a strong relationship on maritime business, overseas investment and inter-Korean economic cooperation.
Based on the new agreement, two companies can enhance their partnership. Kexim will consult with Hyundai Group about its major business plans regarding overseas logistics, import/exportㆍoverseas investment, and inter-Korean economic business at the very beginning, and offer financial aid promptly. On top of that, two companies will build a strategic cooperation system to develop and discover promising business opportunity and to discuss financial issues. Hyundai Group Chairman Hyun Jeong-Eun said at the signing ceremony, “With this agreement, Hyundai Group will be able to secure Kexim’s financial aid for our major business.” And Hyun added “I hope we could build a more promising and constructive business partnership with Kexim.”
