In January-September 2015, the Port of Tallinn (Estonia) handled 17.02mln t of cargo (-21%, year-on-year). According to the Port Authorities, the Port’s passenger traffic climbed by 1.4% to 6,785,000 people.
In September, the port handled 1.8 mln t of cargo (-14.6%, year-on-year) including exports of 125,700 t of grain. The port’s container throughput totaled 20,500 TEUs, down 8.7% against September 2014.

Port of Tallinn ranks fourth largest seaport, next to St. Petersburg, Primorsk and Ust-Luga, on the Baltic Sea. The Port comprises five so-called port zones: Muuga, Old City Harbor, Paljassaare, Paldiski South and Saaremaa. In 2014 throughput at Tallinn port totaled 28.32 million tonnes.
