Opening ceremony held at sea transshipment terminal in Mykolayiv (Ukraine)
Opening of the 5 turn of a sea transshipment terminal Everi will allow Ukraine to enhance agricultural exports and to reduce the time of loading the vessels. As a result, the region will create new jobs, ensures infrastructure development and additional social expenditures, web portal of Ukrainian Government cites Oleksii Pavlenko, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, as saying during an opening ceremony in Mykolayiv.
"The Agriculture Ministry is implementing a deregulation of the industry, simplifying conditions to do business. Opening of the terminal is a vivid example of deregulation. The industry attracts investment, a modern logistics and transport infrastructure are created. This strengthens our export potential and Ukraine's positions in the global market. Our state has been ranked among the TOP 3 of world grain exporters. We influence the global food security. The infrastructure harmonizing with the European standards will enable to strengthen our positions in the global food market", said the Minister.
He added that an export potential of the agri-sector is growing. "Our primary goal is to eliminate artificial barriers and unnecessary expenses on producers and exporters. We have already elaborated joint solutions in this area with the Ministry of Infrastructure, including regarding optimization of a tariff policy", accentuated the Minister.
"The Ministry of Agrarian Policy launches promising investment projects in the port industry, river logistics. It invigorates economic processes in the regions and contributes to the social revival of the territories", noted Olexii Pavlenko.
