In January-September 2015, Public Joint Stock Company “TransContainer” carried 1.03 mln TEUs (+5.3%, year-on-year), the Company says.
TransContainer’s domestic transportation volumes increased by 2.2%, year-on-year, to 574,200 TEUs due to the growth of the Company’s market share.
Transit cargo transportation fell by 25.1% to 65,900 TEUs amid general decrease of transit cargo flow from the Far East to the Central Asia.
Exports fell by 13.2%, handling of containers at TransContainer terminals fell by 8.5% to 900,000 TEUs.
In the 9-month period of 2015, the Company’s share in Russia's rail container transportation market increased to 47.3% from 45.5% in the same period of 2014.
