The major ASW ship of the Northern Fleet Vice Admiral Kulakov has left the raid of the main base and has headed to another long cruise, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
The crew will have to go through the Barents Sea to the Atlantic Ocean. The seamen of the Northern Fleet will improve their skills within different ship exercises. Crews of Ka-27 helicopters will perform scheduled flights from the board of the major ASW ship.
The Vice Admiral Kulakov is one of the most long-range ASW ships of the Northern Fleet. In 2014, it performed an 8,5-month cruise to the Mediterranean and the Atlantic Ocean visiting 11 foreign ports.
