Russian Railways to revise procurement and expenses system in 2016

RF Government’s Expert Council and Russian Railways have elaborated a specific plan of cooperation on making the company’s activities more transparent and efficient. The Document was signed on October 30 by Mikhail Abyzov, RF Minister on Open Government issues, and Oleg Belozerov, President of Russian Railways.

According to the Minister, radical restructuring of the Company’s procurement and expenses system is scheduled for 2016. The purpose is to enhance competitiveness of Russian Railways and to reduce its costs.
