Coal exports via Rosterminalugol terminal hit 17 mln t milestone in 2015
Throughput of Rosterminalugol OJSC in 2015 has reached 17 million tonnes year-to-date, the Company’s press release says.
The milestone tonne was loaded on December 22, 2015 onto dry bulk carrier Miho Pracat. This result has been achieved for the first time in the Company’s history of operation.
JSC Rosterminalugol was established in 1996 to build and operate the coal terminal at Port of Ust-Luga. The Company specializes in loading / unloading operations, freight forwarding services, building and maintenance of facilities at the coal terminal located in the Ust-Luga Bay of the Gulf of Finland. The terminal has two berths of total length of 540 meters with depth of 14 meters. The terminal is able now to accommodate vessels of up to 240 m in length and 32 m in breadth. In 2014, coal exports via the terminal rose 5%, year-on-year, to 15.45 mln t.
