In January-December 2015, sea transport hub of Taganrog handled 2,933,400 t (+2.5%, year-on-year), the port’s Harbour Master Service told IAA PortNews.
Transshipment of oil products fell by 35% to 706,300 t, ferrous metal – climbed by 34.2% to 387,000 t, coal – by 49.4% to 692,200 t, grain – by 24.5% to 983,900 t.
In the reported period, exports climbed by 13.9% to 2,191,200 t, imports fell 3.4 times to 58,400 t, transshipment of coastal trade cargo — by 9.1% to 666,100 t.
In January-December 2015, the port authorities registered 965 incoming and 966 outgoing vessels against 963 incoming and 967 outgoing vessels in 2014.
