Ministry of Culture suggests allowing visa-free entry for tourists coming by ferries to Murmansk, Arkhangelsk and Zarubino ports

The Ministry of Culture has drafted an RF Government Decree to introduce amendments into the list of ports, where visa-free entry to the Russian Federation is allowed for foreign tourists coming by ferries certified for passenger transportation. According to the the  federal portal for legal information, the list is to be extended with Murmansk, Arkhangelsk and Zarubino ports.

Public discussion of the draft document will last till February 12, 2016.

As of today this list includes the following ports of the Russian Federation: Big Port St. Petersburg, Vladivostok (Primorje), Vyborg (Leningrad Region), Kaliningrad, Korsakov (Sakhalin Region), Novorossiysk (Krasnodar Territory), Passenger Port Saint-Petersburg (Leningrad Region), Sochi (Krasnodar Territory).
